Thanks to its central location, the Tena Valley is the perfect staring point for a number of tourist attractions. It's only 5 Km. from the French National Pyrenean Park and less than an hour's drive from the Spanish National Park at Ordessa ( of UNESCO patronage)
Only 40Km. away is the beautiful town of Jaca, famous for its Cathedral and Citadel. It's an obligatory stopping point on the Camino de Santiago and close to the Monastery of San Juan de la Peña, an important historical site in Romanic Aragon.

To the north, the Tena Valley borders with France. Due to its orientation, the adjoining north facing Valley d´Ossau, displays a very different landscapes, filled with dense vegetation. Just 15 Km ways, in Artouste, there is an interesting excursion that includes a cable-car trip up the mountain and taking a little train that borders an abrupt Valley to Artouste Lake, lying at an altitude of 2.000 m

Other nearby places in the neighbouring country that are well worth visiting are the city of Pau, with its spectacular Castle and modern shopping centres and the city of Lourdes with its Marian Basilica, which is an important international pilgrimage centre.
